Dear PC3 Family,

What’s New: GREAT NEWS! We have reviewed our state and local plans for reopening businesses and feel that the best time for PC3 to reboot our in-person Sunday church gathering is June 7th. We will be offering one gathering at 10am.

Why & How: Our leadership team has been praying about and discussing when our church should resume meeting in person on Sunday mornings. The face to face gathering of God’s church is critical for the spiritual health of our community as we celebrate and worship God through music, hearing His word, and through prayer.  This pattern of gathering weekly as a church body is clearly defined in God’s word (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor 16:1-2, Hebrews 10:24-25) and is a necessary practice.  While situations (such as COVID19) can occur that may stop us meeting together temporarily, this is always done in a manner that allows us to safely navigate these unique circumstances while looking forward to meeting again as a church family. Our desire is for us to come back together in the safest way possible while allowing us to worship God in a way that is pleasing to Him.

We are working to create a safe environment for reopening our church and school and we ask you to join with us in this endeavor.  We will be implementing and following the listed procedures below until our city resumes normal activity.

We will:

  • deep clean prior to gathering on June 7th
  • follow CDC recommended cleaning guidelines before and after our gathering
  • encourage the elderly, vulnerable, and sick to stay home and watch online
  • have hand sanitizer stations available
  • space out our tables and use multiple areas of the building to ensure safe distancing
  • meet family-style and have seating areas designated for families with small children
  • reduce the areas of the building that are in use
  • reduce touching (no opening of doors, no handouts, no coffee, or refreshment stations, etc.)
  • have a “no contact” Connections Team (no hugs or handshakes, follow safe distancing, and wear masks)
  • limit the number of volunteers
  • welcome you but from a safe distance

We will not:

  • offer kids or youth programs (follow us on Facebook for kids and youth messages and activities)
  • offer refreshments or coffee (you may bring your own)

We ask you to:

  • stay home if you are sick or in the high-risk categories
  • practice safe social distancing
  • sit with your family
  • wear a mask if you want (our Sunday volunteers will be wearing masks)

Please know that if our state or local government makes any changes to their reopening plans, we will adjust accordingly and communicate those changes to you as soon as possible.

We continue to pray that God is using these circumstances to draw us closer to Him and for those who do not know Him yet to experience Him.  Please keep praying for our national, state, city, and church leaders as they navigate making decisions on how to move forward.

We love and miss you all and look forward to meeting face to face very soon.
