Vision Sunday 2019

Vision Sunday 2019

Dear pc3 Family,

This past Sunday, January 13th we incorporated our Annual Meeting into our gatherings.  This is something we do at the beginning of every year to celebrate what God has done the year before and to share the goals we feel he has placed on our hearts for the upcoming year.

2018 Highlights:

  • Mike Adler was hired as our new Associate Pastor
  • 18 people were baptized
  • 168 students attended pc4, our preschool, with 131 attending our summer camp
  • Over 3500 people attended our outreach events
  • Our “Say Yes” campaign raised just over $20,000 for a new monument sign and building improvements

2018 was not without its share of struggles.  Our giving decreased over the second half of the year with our 4th quarter ending 10% lower than our 3rd quarter.  We also saw an increase in our mortgage payment of $2,500.  We adjusted our budget and had to freeze money to several ministry areas in order to keep from overspending.

We have faith and continue to look forward trusting that God will provide through our church family.  We have developed a budget for 2019 that is focused on restoring ministry funding and growing our life groups and presence in our local community.  To review our 2018 Financial Report, click here. Financial Report In order to meet our 2019 Faith Budget, we need an additional $2,200 per week.  This equates to all of us increasing our weekly giving by $10-$15.  Please prayerfully consider what you can joyfully do to help advance the Kingdom of God.

If finances are an area where you face stress, we would like to invite you to join our Financial Peace University Life Course.  We feel that this course is a valuable tool to help you overcome debt and find hope.  For more information click here: Financial Peace University Info.

We welcomed Pastor Billy Wight back from sabbatical this week and he closed our annual meeting with a vision message you don’t want to miss. Click here for video

We are so thankful for all of you and excited to see what God will do through us in 2019.

In Christ,
