Missions
Our Goals:
We have three main goals we work towards through Missions and Disaster Relief. The first is to Love God by following His command to go and make disciples of all the nations. (Matthew 28:19 NLT)
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations…
Our second is to Love People. (Matthew 22:37 NLT)
39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
The third is to Live It by serving others and spreading the good news. (1 Corinthians 9:16 NLT)
16 Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about. I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News!
Where we have been:
Our Mission Teams have served locally in Palm Coast and Jacksonville. We’ve also served internationally in the Amazon region of Brazil, and as far away as Turkey. In June of 2010 we sent a team to serve in Guatemala. Our ministry also supports missionaries in India and one of our own members who has dedicated her life to Youths with a Mission.
Our Disaster Relief Teams have been called up to serve in New Orleans and Galveston Texas, aiding survivors of hurricanes.
