crosspoint (7th-12th)

challenging students to discover real life in Christ!

Crosspoint

crosspoint challenges teenagers to discover real life in Christ through three contact points:

1. Saturday Nite Live (SNL), during the school year.

2. The Next Level (TNL), Sunday mornings at 10:30Odego Fun. (Not meeting Spring of 2012, see below)

3. Life Groups, meet in homes.

You can help change the life of a middle or high school student, who can impact the world today! The crosspoint leaders will train you.  Please follow the link to fill our Child Protection Plan Application.

When asked to describe their existence in Flagler County, most teenagers will reply with one word… “Boring”.  Now we all know that there are “things” to do here, but there are not enough “things” to do for the thousands of Seventh through Twelfth Graders in Flagler County.

Our goal at crosspoint is to be a catalyst in the community for bringing the youth together in a positive environment, where they can begin to connect with God and each other in a real way.

Costume Party

A lot of people work hard to help develop these students into responsible adults: parents, schools, coaches, employers, civic organizations, churches and others.  As a part of this mix, we feel that it is our God-given responsibility at crosspoint to come along side the parents and help them help their kids, especially with spiritual development.

Saturday Nite Live (SNL)!

SNL logo

SNL Main EventHere’s a snapshot: SNL is a three-hour event held at the Palm Coast Community Church building on Saturday nights six times during a school year.  Starting at 5:00pm students can play games (athletic, non-athletic,SNL video), listen to music or just hang out.  We also feed them…yes, feed them.  Then there’s the Main Event where the most innovative experience you have ever seen occurs (using high-energy music, videos, live bands, skits, & lots of humor) to involve the youth in finding out who and what God is all about.  Then the night wraps up with a chance for the students to hang out with each other for a little while.  All of this is provided free of charge to the students.

The Next Level

TNL

TNL will not be held on Sundays at 10:30 am during the Spring of 2012 so that students may serve in Discoveryland or join their families in the main pc3 service. If you are a 5th or 6th grader who would like to serve in Discoveryland you must complete a child protection program application (download application here) and be put on the schedule.  Contact Lina Santiago about volunteering at 386-338-2077.

TNL is for students who want to go to the “next level” in their faith journey.  The goal of TNL is that every student know what the Bible says and how to apply it to their lives by the time they graduate from high school.

TNL is for middle and high school students who really are ready to grow spiritually. Regardless of how long they have been on their spiritual journey, those who attend TNL are developing their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Odego 2009

Every Sunday at 10:30am we gather in the crosspoint area where students participate in games, skits, tech and other ministries to help them grow spiritually.  They also participate in creative learning in large & small groups where they encounter God through His Word and interaction with each other.

Life Groups

Crosspoint Life Groups exist to create the environment where Christ-following students can really connect with Jesus and each other at a level that will transform their lives.

The first objective for Life Groups is that they are a place where believing students can truly connect with one another.  We do Life Groups to make our large group smaller, we want people to create and maintain meaningful relationships.  We believe that real life-change occurs in this context.

bon fire

The second objective for Life Groups is to learn what the Bible says and how to apply it to their lives.  Life Groups are not classrooms (all learning), nor are they a party (all play).  Life Groups are a place for people to form authentic relationships with others and Jesus.

For more information on available life groups, please contact crosspoint@mypc3.com or see the contact information below!
